Corrections Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

DailyFindz is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we want to know about it, investigate it promptly, and correct the record openly.

How to report an error

If you believe any content on DailyFindz is factually incorrect, misleading, out of date, or otherwise in need of correction, please contact us at our Contact page. Please include:

  • The URL of the article or page in question.
  • A clear description of what you believe is incorrect.
  • If possible, a link to a reliable source that supports the correction.

We aim to acknowledge all correction requests within 2 business days.

How we investigate corrections

On receiving a correction request, the responsible editor reviews the claim against available primary sources. We contact the original author when relevant. Where the correction relates to technical or specialist information, we may consult an appropriate expert.

How we handle significant corrections

When a substantive factual error is confirmed:

  • The error is corrected in the article.
  • The “Updated” date is revised.
  • A correction note is added at the top or bottom of the article, briefly explaining what was changed and why, for example: “Correction (14 July 2026): An earlier version of this article stated the product was compatible with iOS 15. It is compatible with iOS 16 and later. We have updated the article accordingly.”

We do not silently remove or alter factually significant content without disclosure.

Minor corrections

Minor corrections — such as typographical errors, broken links, or outdated prices — are fixed without a formal correction note. The “Updated” date may or may not be revised depending on the significance of the change.

Publication and update dates

Every article displays its original publication date. When an article is substantially updated, the “Updated” date is revised. We do not change publication dates to make older content appear new.

Distinguishing corrections from editing

Routine editing for style, clarity, or structure is not a correction. Corrections are reserved for factual errors, significant omissions, or content that was materially misleading.

Appeals

If you believe your correction request has not been addressed fairly, please email us again and mark your message “Correction Appeal.” A senior editor will review your request independently.
